  • Al-Risalah: Forum Kajian Hukum dan Sosial Kemasyarakatan

    Al-Risalah: Forum Kajian Hukum dan Sosial Kemasyarakatan (Scopus, Sinta 1, p-ISSN: 1412-436x, e-ISSN: 2540-9522) is published by Fakultas Syariah UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi twice a year (June and December) since 2001. From the establishment, Al-Risalah Journal has published a legal periodical publishing scholarly and authoritative articles on legal issues of current importance to both academic research and legal practice. This journal aims to provide a means for sustained discussion of relevant issues that fall within the focus and scopes of the journal which can be examined empirically in the following fields: 1) Sharia (Islamic legal thought and jurisprudence; Islamic economic, Criminal, Civil, and Constitutional Laws); 2) Law Science (criminal law, civil law, international law, constitutional law, administrative law, economic law, customary law); 3) Politics Science (Islamic political law and political science). Principally, the journal's editorial policy is to favour contributions which will be of interest to a wide cross-section of its readership - contributions which, if specialized, nevertheless serve to bring out matters of broader interest or importance within their specialization. However, articles which are not included in the area of law and social sciences are not covered and out of the scope of this journal.   • Al-Maqasid: Kajian Ilmu Hukum & Ekonomi Syariah

    Al-Maqasid: Kajian Ilmu Hukum & Ekonomi Syariah (Sinta …, p-ISSN: ……, e-ISSN: ……) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Sharia, UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, twice a year. Since its establishment, the journal has consistently published scholarly articles addressing contemporary issues in Islamic law and sharia-based economics. The journal provides an academic forum for critical discussions in the fields of: (1) Islamic Law, including fiqh, ushul fiqh, family law, criminal law, constitutional law, and contemporary legal issues; (2) Sharia Economics & Finance, such as Islamic banking, microfinance, zakat and waqf management, halal industry regulation, and sharia economic policy; and (3) Law and Society, including socio-legal studies, legal pluralism, customary law, governance, and the interaction between Islamic law and state law.   • Legatum: Political and Constitutional Law

    Legatum: Political and Constitutional Law (Sinta …, p-ISSN: ……, e-ISSN: ……) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Sharia, UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. The journal is issued biannually and focuses on advancing scholarly discussions in political science, constitutional law, and governance studies within Indonesian and comparative perspectives. Legatum publishes original research and conceptual articles addressing key themes such as (1) Political and Constitutional Law (constitutional theory, judicial review, rule of law, constitutional rights, and comparative constitutional studies); (2) Politics and Governance (political institutions, elections, public policy, decentralization, and democratic governance); and (3) State, Law, and Society (law and politics, legal pluralism, administrative law, and state–society relations). The journal prioritizes manuscripts that contribute to academic and policy debates with strong analytical rigor and relevance to scholars, policymakers, and practitioners. Submissions outside the scope of political science, constitutional law, and governance studies will not be considered.

  • Jinayat: Journal of Islamic Criminal Law

    Jinayat: Journal of Islamic Criminal Law is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Sharia, UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. The journal focuses on scholarly studies in Islamic criminal law (fiqh jinayat) through normative, doctrinal, comparative, and empirical approaches. The journal publishes original research and conceptual papers on topics including Islamic Criminal Law (hudud, qisas, ta’zir, criminal responsibility, evidentiary law, and sanctions), Contemporary Issues in Jinayat (reform, human rights perspectives, restorative justice, and maqasid al-shariah), Comparative and Positive Criminal Law, and Law, Crime, and Society. Manuscripts outside the scope of Islamic criminal law and related criminal justice studies will not be considered for publication.
